Ruby Rea Baker

I’m an interior design student at the University of Oklahoma, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Moving away from home has helped me grow personally and creatively, shaped by my love of design and travel.

In spring 2026, I studied abroad in Rome. Exploring its culture, architecture, and everyday spaces changed how I think about design and strengthened my interest in the relationship between people and their surroundings.

Travel continues to inform my work. Budapest is a particular favorite; its architecture, along with the other European cities I visited, offered new ways to think about space, materials, and place.
